This beautiful classically inspired gown was purchased at La Belle Elaine's in Seattle WA. It was worn for one perfect day on September 18th 2009 and looks every bit as gorgeous now as did when I picked it up. Ruched bridal satin around the waist makes any Brides figure a perfect hourglass and there is a full corseted interior to help. Beading and appliqued lace around the waist, bust, and sleeves reflect romantic candlelight for just the right amount of sparkle. The color is more soft champagne rather than ivory. If you have almost translucent skin like mine, you know that full white isn't for us. My favorite feature of this gown is the traditional train! It flows several feet behind the skirt complete with added satin buttons all the way from the top of the back to the tip of the train. When you are finished making your grand entrance, a french bustle pulls the train up into a symmetrical A-line. Even with lace sleeves, and a full corset, this dress is surprisingly comfortable. The free waist make dancing and sitting no problem! I loved this gown every minute I had it on and I know that someone out there will be lucky enough to feel the same.
