Brand new, romantic long-sleeve lace wedding gown! We moved up the date of our wedding (to the hottest time of the year!) so I'm looking for a dress without sleeves. The sleeves of this dress are actually unlined and it's a light dress because the fabrics are soft and silky, but I just think it might look out of place given the time of year. It was purchased in December 2016.
Please note that the designer of this dress released a new collection in January, and the price of this dress is now about $1,000 (vs the nearly $1300 I paid).
The deets: The bodice is made of silky stretch floral lace in soft white, and is completely lined in nude, front and back. The lining extends to the seam of the shoulders, and the sleeves are unlined. The skirt is made of an organic cotton lining, a layer of silk chiffon, and a top layer of English tulle. The skirt is floor length (at least on me - I am 5'4"). This dress does not have a train.
Measurement Info: This skirt is 42 inches long, and the sleeves are 23 inches long (from shoulder to just above the knuckles, where the lace falls). Waist size: 27-28 inches, arm circumference: 11.25 inches. This dress can easily fit a size 4 or 6 due to it's stretchy and forgiving bodice and loose flowy skirt. The only restriction might be height; I am 5'4" and this dress spills just ever so slightly over on to the floor.
From the designer: Every curve of this dress is so soft it begs to be worn. The lace used in the bodice and sleeves was chosen for its body-hugging and luxurious feel. The organic cotton, natural silk chiffon, and soft English tulle fabrics chosen for the skirt create three ethereal layers that come to life with movement, making magic with every step taken.
The undisputed star of the show with the Zoey dress is of course the hand-cut and carefully placed lace motifs that adorn the neckline and sleeve cuffs in that perfectly imperfect, effortlessly graceful way we love so much. Drawing the eye to the Zoey bride’s most delicate areas provides a whole lot of wow without showing a whole lot of skin.
The Zoey dress is the kind that never goes out of style; the kind you’ll love forever, and you’ll never forget how good it feels to wear.
The bodice is completely lined in nude, front and back. The lining extends to the seam at the edge of the shoulders. The long fitted lace sleeves are unlined. The lace is soft white (a shade between crisp white and ivory).
