The Sarah Seven Forget Me Not dress was the third dress I tried on at Lovely Bride (a great bridal boutique in LA) and - cliche as it is - I knew it was the one. The simplicity and flowing skirt were exactly the opposite of what I assumed I'd want (intricate lace, mermaid skirt, etc.) but I took one look in the mirror, walked a few steps and fell absolutely in love.
The dress has a gorgeous silohette - plunging sweetheart neckline, A-line skirt with a raw edge finish at the hem - but it's really the light-as-air silk organza fabric that makes it beyond comfortable and perfect for a laid-back, slightly boho California bride like me.
I wore it twice for fittings (inside only) and once for my wedding where I felt like a Greek goddess all night and didn't want to take it off.
Sarah Seven has become one of the hottest bridal designers in recent years with her collection of romantic and whimsical wedding gowns. As I understand it, the Forget Me Not dress is no longer a part of her permanent collection but it closely resembles the Practically Perfect gown with the exception of an asymmetrical bustling at the hips that gives the dress subtle structure.
