I felt in love with this gown the moment I saw it and as soon as I tried it on, I knew immediately it was the one! The lace and the details was so beautiful and breathtaking and it still hold a very special place in my heart till this day.

The gown is called "Stephanie" and it was part of the Vera Wang Luxe collections. It is a modified A-line gown with sweetheart neckline and long cathedral train. It is made from the luxurious alencon lace with added scalloped lace detail at the bottom of the gown. The gown is bustle ready with ribbons connecting them at the back of the gown. I added the custom buttons along the back the gown as well as pearl beadings around the bust till the waist area for more luxe details. I also purchased additional rhinestoned sash to complete the look.

The gown has sweetheart neckline and there is an opportunity to slightly modify the gown to give it a different look by adding lace cap sleeve, long sleeve or sheer top. The possibilities are endless!

I bought the dress at the bridal salon at Saks Fifth Avenue in San Francisco. It was retailed for $11,000 plus additional $1000 for the beige rhinestone sash, custom buttons at the back and custom pearl beadings. The veil was additional $1000 and it was original Vera Wang double layer elbow & cathedral length veil. I will include all the mentioned accessories with the purchase (Veil and rhinestoned sash).

The dress was purchased in size 10 but was altered to fit my measurement of Bust: 32.5", waist: 26.5" and hip: 34.5". I am 5'3" and wore 2" heels for my wedding. I wear size 4 in street clothing.

The dress had been cleaned and preserved in the garment bag. I felt beautiful in the dress and had wonderful memories wearing with this dress during our wedding and hopefully the next lucky bride getting this dress will feel the same way!
